The Kings Arms is located close to some of the best walking routes in and around the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Just a few miles from the beautiful scenery of the Jurassic Coast, the pub is also surrounded by riverside and rural footpaths; it’s an ideal base for a walking holiday, and the perfect pit-stop during a country or coastal walk. We can provide maps for several local walks, including a walk to Budleigh that will take you past our door.

SUGGESTED WALKS

Circular Walk Around Otterton - Approx 6 miles. This is a circular walk of Otterton, it’s approximately 6 miles and takes you down the banks of the River Otter and back along the cliffs to Otterton via Ladram Bay.

Exmouth to Sidmouth – Approx 11.2 miles. The longest of the three walks featured is the Exmouth to Sidmouth walk along the SW Coastal Path. This 11.2 mile walk starts at Foxholes car park in Exmouth and continues via Budleigh & Ladram to the Connaught Gardens at Sidmouth with stunning views along the way.

Exmouth to Otterton – Approx 7.2 miles. This walk starts at Foxholes car park in Exmouth and follows the SW Coastal Path to Budleigh before heading North and following the banks of the River Otter to Otterton. The walk is approximately 7.2 miles from start to finish.
